When introducing a new diet, a transition period should be followed, as follows:
Days 1 and 2 - 75% usual diet + 25% cooked diet
Days 3 and 4 - 50% usual diet + 50% cooked diet
Days 5 and 6 - 25% usual diet + 75% cooked diet
From day 7 - 100% cooked natural diet
